Book Week

This year’s Book Week was another tremendous success. The reading grotto provided the wow factor and students were thrilled to enter the mysterious cavern, accessible only via the secret tunnel, and were captivated by this creative space which demonstrated the magic of reading. 

The listening centre, the Drop Everything And Read bell, the book making competitions and guest readings in the theatre (complete with special effects) all contributed to put the spotlight firmly on literacy. 

The week culminated with the fabulous costume parade with his Excellency, the German Ambassador, as special guest.
