Rachel Sielski

Assistant Head Teacher (Academic) - Lower Phase

Rachel studied at Edinburgh College of Art, from where she graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Drawing and Painting, before completing a Primary PGDE at Murray House, with the University of Edinburgh.

Rachel taught in Dumfries and Galloway, then joined The British School of Kuwait in 2011 as a Year 2 Class Teacher. Rachel has held the roles of Primary Subject Component Coordinator of Humanities, Head of Year 3 and Head of Year 4. In 2016 Rachel was appointed Assistant Lower Phase Head Teacher and was Acting Primary Head Teacher during the academic year 2017-18. Rachel continues to lead the Lower Phase (Reception to Year 2) as Assistant Head Teacher (Academic).
