Grant Thomson

Assistant Head Teacher (Pastoral) - Junior Phase

Grant studied at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, from where he graduated with a BEd (Hons) in Primary Education, which was awarded with distinction in teaching practice. 

After graduating he studied at the University of Edinburgh for a PGCE in Primary Physical Education. Grant worked for 10 years across many local authorities in Scotland in a range of teaching and management roles before moving to Kuwait in 2013. Initially Grant joined BSK as a Year 2 Class Teacher before going on to teach in Year 5. Grant was then appointed as Head of Year 5 and is now our Assistant Head Teacher (Pastoral) of the Junior Phase. Grant is a keen squash player and also enjoys playing and coaching social and competitive netball.
