Emma studied at the University of Northumbria, from where she graduated with a degree in English Literature before completing a Secondary PGCE at St Mary’s College, University of Durham.
After working in the independent sector in the UK she moved to Kuwait in 2005, initially joining the English Team as a teacher. She has subsequently held the roles of Assistant Subject Component Coordinator of English, Subject Component Coordinator of English, Debating Coordinator and Sixth Form Coordinator. Emma was appointed to the role of Secondary Head Teacher in 2015 and now leads the Higher Phase (Years 9-13) at BSK.
