School Closure

Dear Parents

In line with the official announcement made by the Kuwait Council of Ministers General Secretariat and the Ministry of Education regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), The British School of Kuwait (BSK) and The Sunshine Kindergarten will both be closed to students for the next two weeks. At this time, we plan to re-open both schools on Sunday 15 March 2020.

During the closure, BSK students in all Phases will be supported with their learning. From 10.30 on Monday 02 March, students will be able to continue their education online via our VLE under the supervision of their regular teachers. New materials and instructions will be posted every school day at 10.30. Parents of Primary students will be able to ask questions, receive feedback and get advice online through our VLE. Secondary students will continue to be able to communicate with their teachers via email as usual.

Please continue to follow the advice of the authorities with regard to the current situation and do not engage in sharing unofficial news. BSK’s official channels of communication are email,
Facebook (Britannians), Instagram (bsk_kw) and our website.
