As part of their ‘Children in World War Two’ topic students in Year 3 held a VE Day party in the school theatre. Decorations of the time were hung and foods of the era were consumed to the strains of popular songs of the time. Designed to replicate the street parties of the day the event is a great way of bringing history to life!
