Science Week saw technicians arrive from the UK National Space Centre in Leicester and a host of activities in the class rooms, with an emphasis on open ended, practical enquiry. Students were captivated by samples of clothing and equipment from space expeditions and were delighted by the eye-opening experiments conducted during the week.
That spirit of enquiry is now being nourished in science lessons throughout the school, where curiosity, questioning and the search for evidence are actively encouraged.
