GCSE and IGCSE results are graded A*-G, but at BSK we consider only A*-C to be pass grades.
To enable approximate comparison, just 7% of 2012 GCSE entries across the whole UK were graded A*, with 22% at A*/A, 44% in the A*-B range and 69% at A*-C. Source: JCQ. You may also wish to view the worldwide subject-specific statistics for the Cambridge IGCSE.
For comparison purposes, across the UK in 2012, just 20% of GCE AS Level entries (excluding applied subjects) were at Grade A, with 40% at A/B and 61% at Grade C or above. Source: JCQ.
