Reception Year at BSK represents the final year of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Implicit in this is the recognition that children learn best through play and active learning, which is designed to support and challenge the young learner. We recognise that each child is unique and all children develop at different rates with different learning styles and interests.

To cater for this we create unique, secure learning environments with spaces designed to stimulate and excite your child. Activities are planned to provide children with experiences that will ignite interest and stimulate thought. We aim to develop their confidence, foster independence and inculcate a positive sense of self, a respect for others and a positive disposition to learning.
