Students may, at their own risk and if their parents agree, bring a mobile telephone to school.
From the moment a student enters the BSK campus, any mobile phone in their possession must be switched off until after 14.30.
Mobile phones must be kept in schoolbags or lockers. Students must not carry a mobile phone in their hand or pocket from the moment they enter the campus until after 14.30.
There are no exceptions to the foregoing rules. For example, students must not listen to music on their phones or use their phone cameras, for any reason, until after 14.30.
Students must not use a wireless hotspot or Virtual Private Network (VPN) service at any time on the BSK campus.
As a privilege, Year 12 and 13 students may use mobile phones inside the Sixth Form Centre, but only before morning line-up and during designated break times, not during private study lessons. Sixth Form students must ensure that any phone in their possession is switched off and placed into their schoolbag or locker before the end of each break.
Any breach of these rules will be logged with -1 point. In serious cases or repeat instances, the DC or HT may also confiscate the phone and/or forbid the student from having a phone on the campus.
