The British School of Kuwait is entrusted with building the characters of a great many young people.
As part of our work we have introduced a theme of Leadership to students. We are challenging students to consider themselves as leaders in some way, to take control of their lives and determine their futures in a very positive manner.

The overarching theme is one of personal and collective responsibility and the effects of the programme are widely felt. Students reward healthy snacks, suggest changes in the school, comment on curriculum, help maintain the order and beauty of gardens and public spaces, assist with charity drives and learn to push themselves out of their comfort zone.
The Student Leadership Programme in the Lower and Junior Departments culminates with special Head Teacher’s Awards, presented at the end of Year 5, before students move on to the Middle Department.
