Students in Year 10 have the opportunity to take part in the Injaz Company Program. Injaz Kuwait is a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide (JA) which is a non-profit making NGO, financed by the private sector. The Injaz Company Program (known as the Young Enterprise Programme in the UK) has been designed to develop students’ entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
Guided by an Injaz volunteer, students set up and run their own business. They finance the business themselves by buying shares to the value of KD4 and specialise in the fields of marketing, finance, human resources, public relations or production. As shareholders of the company, the students share any profits made, after 20% has been paid to a school charity of their choice.
