History Week saw the students meeting a real archaeologist who explained something of the purpose and skills of her work. Students worked on our mock up of on an archaeological dig for Ancient Egyptian artefacts to provide practical experience of the process. They were also taught critical thinking skills of forming hypotheses, how to test them and analysis of evidence.
