We have a clear system of assessment and want you to understand how we mark your work and set targets for improvement.

• It will be made clear to you what levels are being assessed when you do particular pieces of work.
• Sometimes you will be encouraged to set your own targets
• Assessment is based on criteria which are set out in terms of levels of achievement as defined in the National Curriculum of England.
