The British School of Kuwait (BSK) beat New English School (NES) 3-0 in the final of the ISACK championships to retain the Under 15 Boys’ football trophy.
The BSK team won all of their games on route to the final, including key wins against KES (3-2), ESF (3-1) and NES (5-0). They faced NES again in the final, and despite a goalless first half, BSK started to get to grasps with the pace of the game and take control early in the second half.
An excellent free kick from Mihail Vizitui started the scoring, before a wonder strike from Andrew Bader gave BSK a two goal cushion. Mihail added a second goal for himself, clipping the ball over the NES keeper from 35 yards to seal an excellent victory. Proud captain Matthew Nakouzi lifted the trophy for BSK for the second year in a row – maintaining a two year undefeated record for BSK at this age.
